Navigation Bulletin No. 22-94 Mississippi River Deep Draft Crossings (Update)

Reference Navigation Bulletin No. 22-85, dated 18 July 2022, stating that the U.S. Government Dustpan Dredge JADWIN has departed the Mississippi River Deep Draft Crossings between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana, and will return to the Mississippi River Deep Draft Crossings and work from approximately 30 July 2022 until approximately 14 October 2022.
MARINERS ARE ADVISED THAT THE DREDGE JADWIN’S RETURN TO THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER DEEP DRAFT CROSSINGS HAS BEEN DELAYED.
THE DREDGE JADWIN WILL WORK AT THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER DEEP DRAFT CROSSINGS BETWEEN BATON ROUGE AND NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA, FROM APPROXIMATELY 15 AUGUST 2022 UNTIL APPROXIMATELY 14 OCTOBER 2022.
The dredge will work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will give way to vessels using the waterway. The dredge can be contacted on either VHF channel 16 or 67 for sailing instructions.
Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
