Navigation Bulletin No. 22-99: Barataria Bay Waterway-Bar Channel

Beginning on 10 August 2022 and continuing through approximately 20 September 2022, the U.S. Government Contract Cutterhead Dredge MIKE HOOKS will be working in the Barataria Bay Waterway from mile -1.0 to mile -3.0.

Dredged material will be deposited along the edge of the Gulf of Mexico side of Grand Terre beach.

The Dredge will work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will be monitoring VHF marine channels 16 and 67.

Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
