DATE:  March 2, 2021


Commencing on approximately 4 March 2021 and continuing until approximately 1 September 2021, the U.S. Government Contract Cutterhead DREDGE 32 will be working in the Calcasieu River from mile 5 to mile 23 (including Devil’s Elbow, Clooney Island Loop, and the Turning Basin at mile 36).


The dredge will work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will give way to passing navigation.


There are numerous work and support vessels associated with this dredging operation, which include vessels M/V GOD’S GRACE, M/V LIL MIKE, M/V SAM SAM, and M/V KATY ANN.

Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
