NOTICE NUMBER: 19109 / MVN 22-12
EFFECTIVE DATE: 02/10/2022 00:00 thru 05/31/2022 23:59 CDT

 

Beginning on or about 10 February 2022 and continuing until approximately 31 May 2022, the U.S. Government Contract Cutterhead Dredge ROBERT M. WHITE will be working in Southwest Pass from Head of Passes (mile 0) to approximately mile 22 Below Head of Passes (BHP), and in the Mississippi River from Head of Passes to approximately mile 11 Above Head of Passes (AHP).

 

The dredged material will be deposited through a combination of floating and submerged pipelines into designated placement areas.

 

The Dredge will work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be contacted on either VHF channel 67 or 16 for sailing instructions.

 

Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
