Reference Navigation Bulletin No. 21-133, dated 10 November 2021, stating that the U.S. Government Contract Cutterhead Dredge E.W. ELLEFSEN will be working in Houma Terrebonne Bay from approximate Mile 0 to approximate Mile 12 through approximately 31 January 2022.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, THE DREDGE E.W. ELLEFSEN WILL BE WORKING IN THE HOUMA TERREBONNE BAY AND BAR CHANNEL FROM MILE 0 TO MILE -3.6, AND HAS EXTENDED ITS OPERATIONS UNTIL APPROXIMATELY 31 MARCH 2022.

Commencing on or about 16 November 2021 and continuing through approximately 31 January 2022, the U.S. Government Contract Cutterhead Dredge E.W. ELLEFSEN will be working in Houma Terrebonne Bay from approximately Mile 0 to approximately Mile 12.
The dredge will work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Dredged material will be deposited into open water, through a floating pipeline, approximately 2000 feet west of the Houma Navigation Canal Channel Centerline. The dredge can be contacted on either VHF Marine Channel 13 or 16.
Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
