Norrell Lock No.1 NM 10.3 Closure Update: MKARNS

Concrete was poured today, December 19, at Lock 1 and an extension to the closure period tonight could be required for the concrete to reach required strengths. Due to current temperatures this extension may be longer than previously expected. Mariners are advised to contact the lock to obtain the current lock status.

There will be no daily closure period on December 24, 25, and 26. The lock will open at 7 p.m. on December 23 and remain open until 6:59 a.m. on December 27. At that time, the closure period will revert to 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until further notice.
