Severe Weather Threat for March 21-22, 2022

Good afternoon Shreveport partners,

There will be a threat for severe weather across the area Monday afternoon into very early Tuesday morning. This will be followed by a redeveloping threat for severe weather later during the day Tuesday.

Timing and Overview:

  • Monday afternoon into the overnight/early morning hours
    • Severe thunderstorms will possible across Louisiana, Southwest Arkansas, and East Texas. The greatest risk will be across portions of East Texas and into extreme Western Louisiana.
  • During the day Tuesday
    • Severe thunderstorms may redevelop during the day Tuesday across Northeast and North Central Louisiana.

Impacts:

  • Tornadoes, large hail, and damaging winds will be possible.
