LAKE MICHIGAN – PLATTE BAY TO LELAND – CHART 14912

The following aids have been enhanced with AIS ATON: North Manitou Shoal Light (LLNR 18340) MMSI: 993686017 Pyramid Point Shoal Lighted Buoy “5” (LLNR 18350) MMSI: 993686018 South Manitou Island Shoal Lighted Gong Buoy “8” (LLNR 18360) MMSI: 993686019

This section contains information of general concern to the Mariners. Mariners are advised to use caution while transiting these areas.

 

LAKE HURON – MI – Saginaw River – Chart 14867

From 22 Nov 2021 to 331 Jan 2022 Luedtke Engineering Co. will be conducting maintenance dredging in the Saginaw River, MI 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Tug Paul Luedtke can be contacted on VHF channels 10, 16 and 19. All mariners are requested to reduce speed and use caution around dredging equipment. Loaded scows will be moved from the dredge area to the unloading equipment located at the Saginaw Bay Confined Disposal Facility (Shelter and Channel Island).
