IRCA: Bubbler Work at Marseilles - Starved Rock

Great news…   Bubbler repairs are made well ahead of schedule and Marseilles will be operational soon.  The repair fleet is enroute to Starved Rock to inspect their bubblers.  See below for more details.

The repair and dive crew were able to complete the work to the bubbler system much quicker than anticipated and the lock chamber will be open back up to traffic by 1015 today.

The repair fleet is departing Marseilles now and will be headed to Starved Rock Lock to conduct work on their bubbler system.  Pending dive inspections, the work at Starved Rock will be conducted in coordination with boat traffic without a scheduled closure.  However some two hour lock stoppages may occur as needed.  If the dive inspection reveals issues that will require a closure, a navigation notice will be posted, and I will update you on the schedule as soon as I get the word.
