Jeremy,
Attached is the updated slide with our current conditions. LaGrange dropped their wickets early this morning (02/12/22) and are now running the pass. All sites with the exception of Peoria Lock has seen significant reductions in ice floating above their chambers. All sites no longer have a helper boat requirement for cuts although Starved Rock still has a 2’ ice ledge on their lock wall that is showing signs of breaking up and hopefully by mid week the width restriction will be lifted.
We have a warm front that is forecasted to come through beginning Tuesday followed by rain and even warmer temps on Wednesday. Hopefully we will have little to no ice on the river or in the channel by late next week.
