The river has crested above Peoria Lock and dam and falling.  Outdraft conditions exist at Dresden to Starved Rock.  Once Starved Rock’s gate settings fall below 25’ the helper boat for large southbound tow recommendation will be dropped.  This will be the last update for this brief high water event.

Jeremy,

Marseilles has reached their first trigger point.  Dresden is falling out and Marseilles appears to be cresting so I anticipate the load configuration requirements will be lifted at both locations soon in the next 24 hours or so.

Jeremy,

We have hit our first high water trigger point at Dresden Island Lock and Dam in which tows over 70’ must have loads on the land wall side.  High outdraft conditions exist at Dresden on down to Starved Rock.  Navigable pass open at both Peoria and LaGrange Locks.

Thank you,

Doug
