Reference Navigation Bulletin No. 22-26, dated 14 March 2022, stating that a U.S. Government Contractor will be placing subaqueous stone along the Right Descending Bank (RDB) of the Mississippi River at approximate mile 58.1 Above Head of Passes (AHP) through approximately 15 August 2022.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, MARINERS ARE ADVISED THAT THE SUBAQUEOUS STONE PLACEMENT WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED.

NAVIGATION BULLETIN NO. 22-53, 9 MAY 2022, MISSISSIPPI RIVER - SUBAQUEOUS STONE PLACEMENT MILE 58.1 AHP RDB (UPDATE)
Reference Navigation Bulletin No. 22-26, dated 14 March 2022, stating that a U.S. Government Contractor will be placing subaqueous stone along the Right Descending Bank (RDB) of the Mississippi River at approximate mile 58.1 Above Head of Passes (AHP) through approximately 15 August 2022, and the M/V OSCAR WALTERS can be contacted on VHF channels 13 and 16, or at phone number (318) 452-0116.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, MARINERS ARE ADVISED THAT THE M/V OSCAR WALTERS HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH THE M/V LARRY BOY, AND CAN BE CONTACTED ON VHF CHANNELS 13 AND 16, OR AT PHONE NUMBER (504) 657-2805.
The Contractor will work 7 days a week, 10 hours a day, during daylight hours, and the plant will include an anchor barge with hydraulic backhoe. An office barge and various material barges will be on-site, staged along the river at this location.
During nighttime hours, the Contractor will be staged along the Left Descending Bank (LDB) out of the Mississippi River Channel.
Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
