Red River Navigation Update
ANT Colfax Buoy Tender:
They are underway this week. They are going to lock 1 and working their way back to home port, Lock 3. Let them know if there are any issues. You can reach Chief Guidry at 318-542-1434 or robert.t.guidry@uscg.mil.
Pool Levels:
- Shreveport Gage: Currently 17.1' and projected to fall to 15.9' on Friday, 8 April. (Pool is 14.0')
- Coushatta Gage: Currently 25.2' and projected to stay flat to 25.1' on Friday, 8 April. (Pool is 24.2')
- Grand Ecore Gage: Currently 21.7' and projected to stay flat to 21.5' on Friday, 8 April. (Pool is 20')
- Alexandria Gage: Currently 21.5' and projected to stay flat to 21.4' on Friday, 8 April. (pool is 19')
- ACME Gage: Currently 34.4' and projected to remain at 34.4' on Friday, 8 April.
- Red River Landing: Currently 50.6' and projected to fall to 42.1' on Monday, 18 April.
Siltation: Tows are requested to monitor siltation, at lock approaches, as the river falls, and report any sign of problems.
