Red River Short Closure RM 59.6 on March 3
Following is a notice from CLECO on a short river closure to navigation:
On March 3, 2021 @0800 we will need to pull a rope across the Red River at the Moncla crossing, RM 59.6, to replace a static wire that fell during the ice storm on 02-17-2021. The rope will be used to pull in a new wire. We will have crews on site the day before 03-02-2021 to set up equipment and prepare for the following day. These crews will NOT interfere with navigation.
This should be a closure of only a few hours.
More information will be provided with contact information and what law enforcement vessels will be present on site.
