At 0722 my office received a report from ITV JOLLY ROGER (pushing 03 work barges) while transiting north bound from (STL to Moline, IL) at mile marker 301.5 UMR, their port lead barge (LEG901) sunk due to an unknown cause. Barge (LEG901) is a deck barge with no cargo or product onboard that would produce any pollution. ITV has barge under positive control pushed in on the RDB. ITV and barge are partially blocking the channel north of LD22, tows of 1200 FT or greater will not be able to pass. At this time they are working on a salvage plan, and we are unsure of estimated time of removal. We will keep you updated as we receive further information.

Very Respectfully,
