RIAC UM172 Reopened, for now
The channel is being re-opened to traffic now.
At some point, possibly later today, another one or two hour closure will be needed to complete this work; TBD

The blasts went off about 0930, and the towers on both sides of the river are still standing. There’s a need to extend this closure while the demo contractor forms a new plan to finish the job. No estimate of how long that will take at this time, I will update as soon as I get new information

Last closure for this project, 0800 to 1000 Wednesday 20APR, to implode the old highline towers. USCG will issue a BNM to start the closure.

Then a closure is needed 0800 to approx. 1200 tomorrow 17APR to complete the installation of the static lines
Then a closure 0800 to approx. 1000 on Wednesday 20APR while the old towers are knocked down by blasting.
And then the river crossing part of this Ameren project will be complete

There is a chance this full day of work could complete the river crossing part of Ameren’s project on Friday. If not, another 0830 until completion will be needed on Saturday 16APR.

At this time we are tentative to have a closure 0830 to 1600 on Sunday 10APR, will update Saturday morning.
It will take about two days to complete this work, there is a chance of rain Mon. Tues, Wed next week.
