SECTION VII – GENERAL

This section contains information of general concern to the Mariners. Mariners are advised to use caution while transiting these areas.

 

UPPER MISSISSIPPI RIVER

MILE 495.4 - BRIDGE MAINTENANCE

I-80 Highway Bridge; Cleaning of the bridge will be performed April 15, 2022 until June 15, 2022.  A snooper truck will be used for operations and will move for vessel traffic.

 

MILE 482.9 - L/D DELAYS

On May 16, 2022, from 4:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., temporary delays may be experienced at L/D 15, in the vicinity of Mile 482.9.

 

MILE 384.8 - MILE 367.2 - AIDS TO NAVIGATION

The following aids to navigation have been set for the navigation season.  The unlighted buoys have been withdrawn: Dutchman Island Lighted Buoy (LLNR-15395), Mile 384.8, RDB, Sunken M/V John Paul Lighted Buoy, (LLNR-15435), Mile 78.4, LDB and Waggoner PT. Lighted Buoy (LLNR-15475), Mile 367.2, RDB.
