OFF-LOADING EQUIPMENT OPERATIONS Old River Lock

Reference Navigation Bulletin No. 22-80, dated 11 July 2022, stating that commencing on or about Monday, 25 July 2022, and continuing through Monday, 29 August 2022, Old River Lock will be closed to navigation during daylight hours, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., due to a U.S. Government Contractor off-loading the new gantry crane from a barge in the lock chamber, onto the storage area on the lock grounds.

MARINERS ARE ADVISED THAT THE DAYLIGHT ONLY CLOSURES TO NAVIGATION WILL NOT COMMENCE UNTIL THURSDAY, 28 JULY 2022, AND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY, 29 AUGUST 2022, AT OLD RIVER LOCK.

A U.S. Government Hired Labor Unit will also be performing expansion joint repairs above the water line during the same time frame.

Traffic will be allowed to pass after work hours.
