Old River Lock & 60-Day Lock Operational Status, 05 July 2023

Hello All,

Old River Lock will begin having daytime closures up to 4 hours beginning on or about 06 July through 31 August 2023. For current closure schedule, see the attached schematic.

Bayou Sorrel Lock’s SW Guide Wall construction has resumed with daytime closures from 7am to 4pm Monday thru Friday. Delays should be expected but during closure times, opportunities for vessel passage may occur and will be utilized.

Harvey Lock is still closed due to low river stage.

Restrictions at Calcasieu and Algiers Locks are still in effect.
