Panama City Harbor Entrance Channel

Notice is given to mariners that a temporary draft restriction of 33' at or near highwater, to a maximum draft of 34', is being placed into effect immediately for Panama City Harbor
Entrance Channel. This maximum draft restriction is due to the increase in shoaling in the middle of the entrance channel and outer bar. The temporary draft restriction will remain in place until early June when a dredge will be mobilized to the area to clear the shoaling.

Mariners should exercise extreme caution when transiting the Panama City Harbor Entrance Channel area.
