America’s Central Port District (“Port”) issues Two Requests for Proposals

The scope of this RFP is to request proposals for the purchase and installation of a container tilter. The tilter will meet or exceed the following specifications:
- 20’ long with a 45-ton capacity;
- Integrated scale
- Hydraulic door closers;
Proposals will include the purchase, delivery, and installation of equipment.
This purchase is subject to partial reimbursement from a Federal Grant and any entity that wishes to submit a proposal must adhere to the attached exhibits and appendices. Any labor performed on-site will be subject to current Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates. All equipment must conform to the Buy American Act.
- 275-ton Crane (please access full RFP here)
The scope of this RFP is to request quotes for the purchase of a 275-ton crane. The crane must meet or exceed the following specifications:
- 2001 or newer;
- 275-ton class;
- Minimum 180’ boom;
- Tier 3 engine;
- 100-ton 3 sheave load block;
- Less than 5,000 hours engine run time;
- Air-conditioned cab.
Proposal will include the purchase and delivery of the crane.

America’s Central Port District (“Port”), formerly the Tri-City Regional Port District, is a municipal corporation of the State of Illinois created in 1959 to promote economic development and transportation in Southwestern Illinois. The Port manages a 1,200-acre industrial park in the cities of Granite City, Madison, and Venice, Illinois, 10 minutes north of downtown St. Louis, Missouri.
