Predicted Cold Front – Increasing Winds

National Weather Service is expecting a secondary cold front to make its way into the coastal waters Friday night. Predicted north-northeast winds steadily increasing after sunset to 20-30 knots overnight. Rain and storms are not anticipated. Gale force gusts are possible in the offshore Gulf Waters with seas building to 6-10 feet late Friday night into Saturday morning.

Mariners are advised to consider these weather conditions before beginning or continuing their transit.
