Project Administrator (Paducah, KY)

Bacon, Farmer, Workman Engineering and Testing is accepting applications for a Project Administrator in Paducah, KY. Bacon Famer Workman Engineering & Testing, Inc. is seeking a Project Administrator to assist and support the Project Management team by performing administrative functions required by various civil engineering projects from its Paducah, Kentucky location.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Work with Project Manager to facilitate proposal and bid documentation
  • Communicate with Project Managers and other stakeholders to administer projects in accordance with contract terms and ensure effective, timely execution of various projects within established budgets
  • Establish project budgets and maintain project information in the project command center
  • Assist with cost control to include monitoring the preparation of scope of services, contract documents, budgets, scheduling, contracting, and processing of invoices
  • Assist Project Managers with project planning and complete setup and maintenance of projects in the firm’s accounting system
  • Assist in preparation and transmittal of reports, report production and distribution, copying, document formatting, binding, shipping, filing, and scanning on various projects

  • Exceptional people skills, a focused listener with the ability to facilitate smooth communication and work-flow process across operations and with various parties

  • Possess Strong spoken and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks

  • Experience with Bluebeam preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to understand scope, budget, and schedule on multiple, concurrent projects

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required with associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
