Project Leader Purchasing (Bjuv/Helsingborg, Sweden)

Bruks Siwertell is accepting applications for a Project Leader Purchasing in Bjuv/Helsingborg, Sweden. We are looking for a customer-focused, self-motivated purchase project lead who will work as part of a dedicated team based in Bjuv, located just outside of Helsingborg, Sweden.

Do you have experience in purchasing and a technical background? Do you want to be a part of the process of developing our way of working? Then you could be the person we are looking for.

Our project purchasing department is responsible for supplying product components and services within the Siwertell product portfolio. You will be responsible for purchasing very small components, up to large welded steel structures, in Sweden as well as internationally.

The Job:

In this role, you will be responsible for supplying components and services for our customer projects. You will become part of a project team and will be responsible for:

  • Supplying manufacturing components and services for customer projects
  • Negotiating with suppliers and administrating purchase orders, including monitoring delivery times and authorizing invoices
  • Coordinating purchases connected to different customer projects
  • Creating and managing documentation for purchasing and processing technical and commercial documents, including technical drawings
  • Sourcing alternative suppliers

To succeed in this position, you should show initiative and have the ability to plan, manage and drive your own workload. You will be used to working as part of a team and moving projects forward. You should be fluent in both written and spoken English.

You will ideally hold a university degree in engineering, including civil or mechanical, or equivalent work experience. A good working knowledge of technical documentation, for example specifications and drawings, is essential for this role. Experience in purchasing and negotiations is advantageous.
