The Opportunity

We are on the hunt for a collaborative, strategic, and supportive Project Manager.  Located in Cincinnati, OH, we are seeking an individual to manage and oversee multiple StrikeFORCE tool room projects varying in size and contract length throughout various parts of the US. F&M MAFCO offers customized “powerful solutions” to fit our customer’s equipment, tooling, and consumable needs. This is an opportunity to join a leader in the MRO and construction tool and equipment rental and supply market.

This leadership role is responsible for managing multiple on-site tool rooms and/or warehouses and overseeing associate personnel to include planning, mobilization, operational sustainment, and de-mobilization.  As the primary liaison between multiple customers, contractors, and all on-site operations, exemplary and professional sales/service and customer service skills are a must. We are looking for a leader that is be able to work cross-functionally within our inside/outside sales, marketing, purchasing, rental, and service departments, as well as directly with customer(s) to ensure our StrikeFORCE service, operations and profitability objectives are achieved.  Success will be measured by one’s ability to establish and implement standards to facilitate attainment of goals and to enhance resource efficiencies, safety, workmanship, accuracy, and turnaround to ensure customer satisfaction goals are exceeded.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement standards to facilitate attainment of on-site project and profitability goals.
  • Maintain a focused/motivated operations team.  Lead and manage on-site tool room staff to include scheduling, training, and other personnel management functions.
  • Work in conjunction with Sales to communicate with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements for the project.
  • Track project timeline and performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Coordinate day-to-day internal resources and third parties / vendors / freight companies / etc., for flawless execution of projects.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, sales, and warehouse during on-site inventories/implementation projects
  • Recommend and document processes/procedures to ensure continual improvement regarding inventory control services.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with internal/external customers.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record as a Project/Site or Branch manager or Strategic Account Manager, preferably in the supply distribution and equipment rental industry, along with prior Client service experience.
  • Experience in a work leadership role, to include directing and motivating others.
  • Experience using SAP, preferred.
  • High level of communication, interpersonal and presentation skills required, with ability to respond to inquiries at all levels.
  • Excellent time management skills/abilities while being results-oriented with a strong attention to detail/follow-up. Flexible and able to change focus as needs/workload dictates.
  • Must always display a professional demeanor, while maintaining creditability and trustworthiness amongst both internal/external customers.
  • Solid problem-solving skills, with ability to provide timely and workable solutions.
  • Able to exercise discretion and independent judgment, while working independently with minimal direction.
  • Superior follow-up skills, persistent and results oriented.
  • Committed to quality and service excellence.
  • Able to travel, with overnight stays required - Availability as requested/required for after-hour emergency calls and necessary overtime as the workload dictates, which may include some weekends.

We are looking for someone that has a proven track record of hiring and leading effective project teams and who can pick up work in-progress, driving success through to completion. Experience within the industrial construction/rental industry is a plus. However, the right candidate is hungry, humble, and willing to learn our world.
