Red River: Dredge & Buoy Update
Dredge Allison Crosby is in Houma NTP was issued on 3 June 2022. First Assignment is Lock 1, expected start ~24 June 2022.
Gage at Lock 1 26.48.
The dredge will be clearing the lock approaches and pools to be sure there is navigation during the 2 week opening of Lock 1. Tows are to report ANY areas of shoaling - this will be the last opportunity until Lock 1 dewatering is completed.
US Coast Guard Buoy Tender:
They are heading out Monday, 6 June, for the week to the gauntlet and the lower part of the Black River. They plan on heading to look at the buoy situation up north on June 21st. Let them know of any areas of concern.
