Request for Public Input: Industrial Site Development Grant Program Draft Guidelines and Survey Now Available
The Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) is requesting public feedback on its proposed Industrial Site Development Grant Program, funded via the State of Missouri’s share of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The $75M Industrial Site Development Grant Program helps communities develop shovel-ready industrial sites to support business expansion and attraction.
Eligible political subdivisions include: Municipalities (incorporated cities, towns, or villages), counties, Levee Districts, Industrial Development Authorities, Port Authorities, and other political subdivisions that conduct economic development activities.
The Public Input Survey (linked) will assist DED in creating the Industrial Site Development Grant Program Guidelines, including minimum and maximum awards, eligible applicants, and funding priorities.
The Public Input Survey is open now, and you may provide input until 5:00 p.m. on November 2, 2022. If you are unable to submit comments online, you may submit comments by contacting DED at 573-751-4962. Complete information is available on DED's ARPA community and business development webpage.
