Proposals Due: Wednesday, August 31, 2022 @ 10:00am CDTT
Mid-America Intermodal Authority Port District (Port) is a new port development on the Mississippi River in Adams County, Illinois approximately 1 mile above Lock & Dam 21. It is a special purpose unit of local government and Municipal Corporation. The Port was created by the State of Illinois in 1998 with a mission of economic development for the region.
The project consists of rehabilitation of an existing barge dock and design and construction of a new barge dock and adjoining transloading facilities including rail and container handling. In addition to design the port is seeking project management including all necessary permitting. Experience in all phases of the project including permitting and project management, keeping on schedule and within budget is a priority. Redundancy, including a qualified back up for each individual team member is important.
This Request for Qualifications is for a project team who will be responsible for the development of the permittable engineered design of the facility, obtaining all necessary permits and efficiently manage the construction of the project.
