River Closure: Tennessee River Mile 463-468, Head of the Hooch Activities

The USCG has issued a river closure to begin on November 4th – 6th ,2022 between Tn river mile marker 463-468 for daylight hours only those days. This river closure is related to the activities associated with a special event called Head of the Hooch.

During this closure no mariners will be able to transit upstream or downstream through this reach of the Tennessee river during the daylight hours.

For further information & details, mariners are requested to contact the lockmaster at Chickamauga Lock.
