River Training Structure Maintenance Mile 44.9 Transit Advisory

- Luhr Crosby, LLC will commence dike maintenance at mile 44.9 UMR on the right descending bank, starting on Monday, 23 January 2023. Work is estimated to be complete by 30 January 2023.
- No river closure is required for this work, but all mariners are asked to contact the M/V Jason Luhr on Channel 72 or by phone at 573-803-7930 to make passing arrangements. Southbound vessels are requested to contact when at Dusky Bar, mile 60 UMR and Northbound vessels are requested to make contact when at Goose Island mile 34.4 UMR.
- Due to the channel dimensions, tows are requested to not meet, overtake or wait from mile 47.0 UMR to mile 42.5 UMR.
- From mile 44.0 to 45.5 UMR, Northbound vessels are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
