ROV Inspection CSSC Fish Dispersal Barriers

1. A survey team will be conducting a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) survey within the Regulated Navigation Area (RNA) on the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal (CSSC) adjacent to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Aquatic Nuisance Species Electric Dispersal Barrier System (RM 296 - 296.7) on Monday, February 6th, 2023 from 0800 to 1600 CST. Mariners should provide the survey team with a minimum of 15 minutes notice prior to transiting the RNA such that the ROV can safely be removed. The survey team can be reached on marine channel 12.

2. In the event the ROV inspection is completed prior to the scheduled completion time, an amendment to this Notice to Navigation Interests will be posted.
