Sailing Instructions – Multiple Locations, WREC

Due to falling river levels and until further notice, both upbound and downbound mariners are advised to use caution through the following areas.

Between NM 0.0 and NM 0.5 downstream of MPLD Lock & Dam – Tows should favor the green side of the channel (Right Descending Side).

Between NM 3.9 and NM 4.4 – Tows should favor the green side of the channel (Right Descending Side / Outside of the Bend).

Between NM 7.1 and NM 8.1 near the Benzal Bridge – Tows should favor the green side of the channel (Right Descending Side).

Between NM 9.8 and NM 10.0 entering the Arkansas Post Canal and the downstream approach to Norrell Lock No. 1 – Tows should favor the red side of the channel (Left Descending Side).
