Service Sales Consultant (Seattle, WA; Santa Fe Springs, Ca)

Palmer Johnson Power Systems (PJPS) has a great opportunity for a Service Sales Consultant serving the West Coast of the United States. The Service Sales Consultant is responsible for growing service sales & margin by identifying local market opportunities and driving service work into our service centers. This is accomplished by developing trust and maintaining integrity in relationships with new and existing customers and the PJPS Service Team(s) in your territory.

About the Opportunity:
The Service Sales Consultant will network and become an expert in the local market to identify industries that can benefit from our service capabilities and capture the business that produces the highest margin. This person will stay current and educated on PJPS’s NSA, REMAN, & RECON programs and work with the local service teams to understand the types of work that they excel in. Communication will be key with both customers and service teams to ensure that timelines and expectations are met. This role will require travel to visit customers and attend meetings or events.

  • Do you have a minimum of 3 years’ sales experience, preferably with a service background?
  • Do you have basic level mechanical aptitude, mechanical training in diesel is a plus?
  • Are you self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented?
  • Are you confident and efficient in cold & warm calling?
  • Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills?
  • Do you have a positive attitude with a strong desire to succeed?
  • Do you have a current driver’s license?
  • Do you enjoy and excel with customer interaction (internal and external)?
