Alberici Constructors, Inc., a leading firm in the construction industry with annual revenues exceeding $1 billion and ranked the 30th largest General Contractor in the U.S., is seeking a Sr. Estimating Director for our Energy and Heavy Industrial markets.

The Sr. Estimating Director is accountable for managing the estimating process for assigned market segment(s) in a manner consistent with the Company values, policies and procedures. This individual is responsible for the satisfaction of clients and the quality and competitiveness of assigned estimates. This role will support business acquisition efforts and will engage in management, training, and development of staff personnel.
Individual responsibilities include integration of project safety requirements, cultivation of suppliers and subcontractor engagement, development of winning strategies, quantity surveys and preliminary construction schedules. This role is also responsible to attend and/or facilitate pre-tender meetings, strategy formulation, pricing review, subcontractor scope review workshops, as well as turn-over and buy-out meetings on awarded projects.
This high-profile position requires a Bachelor’s degree related to the construction industry, 10+ years’ experience and expertise in all aspects of energy and industrial estimating, Air Quality Control Systems, gas fired plants, and renewable energy. Experience in other industries, such as petrochemical, refining, fertilizers, metals processing, food and beverage, and other industrial process plants is a plus. This candidate will ideally have some on-the-job field experience.
Candidates must have the skills and experience to develop winning strategies, perform conceptual and detailed estimates and assist in the development of staffing and schedule approaches. The candidate must also have a firm understanding of a variety of delivery methods as well as associated preconstruction services.
This individual will ideally have experience in the unique requirements associated with forming and operating within joint ventures. Qualified candidates for the role will possess detailed knowledge of craft labor collective bargaining contract and labor agreements, as well as company insurance and bonding requirements.
