Stingray Pipeline Update 1

All mariners are advised that pipeline removal operations have been extended through November 20, 2023.


Pipeline removal operations will be conducted in the Gulf of Mexico within the Calcasieu Bar Channel, in approximate position 29-25-19.56N 093-13-18.48W. Operations will be conducted 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. During the operation, approximately 800 ft of pipeline will be removed from within the channel limits and 160 ft removed from outside the east and west toes of the channel. The Barge LB SPEEDY will anchor utilizing an 8-point anchor spread in two locations during the project. The barge will anchor along the western edge of the Calcasieu Bar Channel, approximately 180 ft into the channel, and anchor in the eastern fairway, approximately 160 ft outside of the channel. Passing arrangements should be coordinated with the on-scene vessels LB SPEEDY and MR. GOLDIE via VHF-FM Channel 16. Mariners are requested to transit the area at their slowest safe speed, observe all day shapes and diving flags, and proceed with extreme caution.
