KANAWHA RIVER, MILE 46.25

Notice is given that on or about 19 September 2022, Amherst Madison will begin placing stream bank protection and driving pipe around the existing boat ramp along the left descending bank of the Kanawha River, mile 46.25.

The contractor's floating plant will consist of the M/V Earl Franklin, one barge mounted crane, and one material barge. The M/V Earl Franklin will be monitoring marine channels 13 and 16. The work will be performed from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The anticipated completion date is 10 October 2022.

During non-working hours, the contractor's floating plant will be moored at the work site and lighted according to regulation.

Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution.
