Subaqueous Stone Placement at Mile 192.7 AHP RDB

Commencing on or about 9 October 2022 and continuing through approximately 16 December 2022, a U.S. Government Contractor will be placing subaqueous stone along the Right Descending Bank (RDB) of the Mississippi River at approximate mile 192.7 Above Head of Passes (AHP).

The Contractor will work 7 days a week, 10 hours a day, during daylight hours, and the plant will include an anchor barge with hydraulic backhoe. An office barge and various material barges will be on-site, staged along the river at this location.

During nighttime hours, the Contractor will be staged along the Left Descending Bank (LDB) out of the Mississippi River Channel. The M/V MISS NINA can be contacted on VHF Marine Channels 13 and 16, or at phone number (318) 452-0183.

Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
