Subaqueous Stone Placement Mile 101.4 AHP RDB

Commencing on or about 26 June 2023 and continuing through approximately 14 July 2023, a U.S. Government Contractor will be placing subaqueous stone along the Right Descending Bank (RDB) of the Mississippi River at approximate mile 101.4 Above Head of Passes (AHP).

The Contractor will work 7 days a week, 10 hours a day, during daylight hours, and the plant will include a spud barge with hydraulic backhoe. An office barge and various material barges will be on-site, staged along the river at this location.

During nighttime hours, the Contractor will be staged along the Right Descending Bank (RDB) out of the Mississippi River Channel.

Personnel on the M/V JAMES CHRISTOPHER and M/V BILLY GENE can be contacted on VHF Marine Channels 67, 16, and 12 (Vessel Traffic Services).

Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
