Subaqueous Stone Placement Mile 11.5 to Mile 20.1 AHP LDB

Commencing on or about 23 October 2022 and continuing through approximately 18 November 2022, a U.S. Government Contractor will be placing subaqueous stone along the Left Descending Bank (LDB) of the Mississippi River from approximate Mile 11.5 to Mile 20.1 Above Head of Passes (AHP).
The Contractor will work 7 days a week, 10 hours a day, during daylight hours, and the plant will include a Spud Barge with hydraulic backhoe. An office barge and various material barges will be on-site, staged along the river at this location.
During nighttime hours, the Contractor will be staged along the Left Descending Bank (LDB) out of the Mississippi River Channel. The M/V MISS BARBARA ANN can be contacted on VHF Marine Channels 16 and 67.
Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
