Subaqueous Stone Placement Mile 311.7 AHP RDB

Commencing on or about 20 February 2023 and continuing through approximately 25 February 2023, a U.S. Government Contractor will be placing subaqueous stone in the Old River Auxiliary Inflow Channel along the Right Descending Bank (RDB) of the Mississippi River at approximate mile 311.7 Above Head of Passes (AHP).
The Contractor will work 10 hours a day, during daylight hours, and the plant will include an anchor barge with hydraulic backhoe. An office barge and various material barges will be on-site, staged along the river at this location.
During nighttime hours, the Contractor will be staged along the Right Descending Bank (RDB) out of the Mississippi River Channel. The M/V BARBRA ANN and M/V KACIE LUHR can be contacted on VHF Marine Channels 13, 16, and 72.
Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
