EFFECTIVE: 07/26/2023 10:00 thru UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

 

Mechanical dredging (Strike Removal) operations resumed on Wednesday, 26-July-2023 at 1000 and will continue until Until Further Notice at Huron Chute, UMR Mile 424.1 to 424.6. Dredging will be performed 7 days a week, 10.5 hrs per day, 0700-1730.

Mariners are requested to contact the MV Bettendorf or MV Davenport on channel 13, 14, 16 or 82, THIRTY minutes prior to transiting the area.

Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
