Lock Closure for Miter Gate and Guard Wall Repair Kentucky Lock Tennessee River Mile 22.4

Kentucky Lock will experience a series of intermittent closures from 13 June through 30 June 2022. The closures will occur daily from 0600-1800 hours.

During the closures, crews will be painting the upstream miter gates from repairs that occurred earlier in the year. Crews will also be making repairs the armor plating on the upstream guard wall. These repairs will require the lock to be closed for the duration of time the crews are performing repairs.

The lock will be reopened each evening to relieve the lock queue.
