Tombigbee River Closure May 31, 2023

Date: 31 May from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Notice is given to mariners that the Mobile River will be closed at River Mile 14 on Wednesday 31 May from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

CSX's Contractor will be on site performing in-depth repairs to the railroad bridge (Mile-14 Bridge).

The repair will require an extended closure as well as precision fit machinery and daylight hours. Future closures will be for a shorter duration and are expected to occur after the Fourth of July.
