Notice is given to mariners to exercise extreme caution when transiting river mile 118.2, upper approach to Coffeeville Lock.

Elevated water levels create extreme outdraft conditions toward the spillway. There have already been two close calls involving tows being pulled into the cut toward the spillway.

Plan for outdraft conditions and act accordingly. Please call the Lock for current river conditions (251-276-3293).
