Update: Old River Lock Maintenance & Gate Installation

Reference Navigation Bulletin No. 22-66, dated 8 June 2022, stating that commencing on approximately 30 August 2022 and continuing through approximately 12 November 2022, Old River Lock will be closed to navigation due to a U.S. Government Work Unit installing two miter gates and repairing lock chamber expansion joints, which will necessitate the continuous closure.

MARINERS ARE ADVISED THAT THE CONTINUOUS CLOSURE OF OLD RIVER LOCK WILL CEASE ON 6 NOVEMBER 2022. OLD RIVER LOCK IS SCHEDULED TO BE BACK IN OPERATION AT 7:00 P.M. ON SUNDAY, 6 NOVEMBER 2022.
