Upper Mississippi River: Mechanical Dredging (Strike Removal) Hogback Island, UMR Mile 331.3 to 332.0

Mechanical dredging (Strike Removal) operations will commence on Wednesday, 22-June-2022 and will continue until further notice at Hogback Island, UMR Mile 331.3 to 332.0. Dredging will be performed 7 days a week, 10.5 hrs per day, 0700-1730

Mariners are requested to contact the MV Clinton or MV Davenport on channel 13, 14, 16 or 82, THIRTY minutes prior to transiting the area.

Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
