Upper Mississippi River Mooring Facility Lock and Dams 7, 10, 11, 14, 15, 20, and 22

The US Army Corps of Engineers is planning the construction of 8 mooring facilities on the Upper Mississippi River at lock and dams 7, 10, 11, 14, 15, 20, and 22. The Corps is asking for feedback from all pilots transiting these areas on whether these would be considered desirable locations to moor or if the locations are unsuitable and will be an impedance to navigation. Please send feedback to either Lee Nelson at lee@ursi.net, Bernie Heroff at Bernard.Heroff@adm.com, or Casey Herschler at casey.herschler@gmail.com. Review period is 01 August 2022 to 31 August 2022. Please provide feedback no later than 31 August 2022. Features displayed virtually on the Inland Electronic Navigation Charts (IENC) will include the following virtual items: Mooring Facility and Caution Area.
