Updated summary of all 2023 / 2024 Upper Mississippi River Lock Closures:

Lock 2 – Closed 04-Dec-2023 – 05-Mar-2024 – Dewater Lock & concrete repairs.

Lock 3 – Closed 04-Dec-2023 – 05-Mar-2024 – Contractor Guide Wall crib & grouting.

Lock 4 – Closed 04-Dec-2023 – 05-Mar-2024 – Contractor guide wall end cell rehab.

Lock 7 – Closed 04-Dec-2023 – 05-Mar-2024 – Contractor Guide Wall crib & grouting.

Sabula RR Bridge – Closed 11-Dec-2023 – 11-Mar-2024 – Swing span machinery rehab.

Lock 17 – Closed 18-Dec-2023 – 04-Mar-2024 – Lock wall rehab. Will forward the Nav Notice when it is published.

Locks 18 thru 27 open all winter.  Locks 18 thru 22 will probably have reduced operating hours.  Will forward the Nav Notice when it is published.
