USACE Pathfinder – Mechanical Dredging Upper Mississippi River mile 194

Mechanical dredging will commence at mile 194 UMR starting on 11 August 2023 and will continue until further notice. Dredging will be performed from 0600 to 1800 hours daily.

No river closure for dredging operations is anticipated. The contact boat for making passing arrangements is the USACE M/V Pathfinder and can be contacted on VHF-FM radio channels 13 and 16.

Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made with the M/V Pathfinder.
