USACOE Mat Sinking Unit Operations Suspended-White Castle Area

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mat Sinking Unit (MSU) has completed operations at MM 192.7, AHP and has folded-up against the bank. Normal traffic passages can be resumed in this area. The MSU requests all vessels to continue to transit the area at a slowest safe speed, to minimize wake. The MSU is scheduled to resume operations in this area at 6:00 AM on Monday, January 30, 2023. A Contact Pilot is on-scene 24/7 onboard the M/V Harrison monitoring VHF-FM CH 67 and 82.
